My Box

	Description
My Box	A decorated and filled box prepared by members of the group. This is an activity that can be used with any age group, but will require some advance preparation. A week or so before the enquiry, give each person an empty box (you can buy a set of small boxes from an office supplier). Each person decorates and fills the box with things they both like and dislike about their home town or neighbourhood. The boxes aren’t labelled. For the enquiry, the boxes are displayed for everyone to look at.

This enquiry for people from different places, such as a school linking programme, but could be used with any group. Philosophical questions- What is a place REALLY like? Why are some things about a place important to some people and not to others? Can a place be good or bad?
