A 10 minute DVD based on real accounts by children about what makes them happy – showing story with children acting using own language in Sri Lanka. This story shows Hashi finding a battered old kite on a journey through the village and with the help of other children and adults in the community mending, improving and flying it. At the end Hashi and her friends are on the beach and the kite flies away – the children laugh. The film is easy to understand, but it could be introduced by explaining that the story is based on young people’s memories of what made them happy when they were younger.
