Pirates

  Description

PiratesJack Sparrow Impersonator

This activity suitable for KS1 and KS2 asks children to compare ‘storybook’ pirates with real pirates, using pictures and text.

      • Children look at photos and record the words that come to mind.
      • Read the news report.  Children now record new words, using a different colour.
      • Each child chooses 10 words that stick most in their mind, and share with a partner or small group before generating questions.
